Oracle Legal Helps Mrs Lester Win a 7-Figure PPI Refund

Julia Lester took out a loan with Picture Financial in April 2005. Mrs Lester thought everything was fine with the borrowing until stories emerged about the lender issuing mis sold PPI policies, Mrs Lester called our team in early November to see if she was eligible for a PPI refund.

From Claim To Case:

Mrs Lester originally called our freephone number 0800 840 7292 and spoke to our PPI claims adviser Adam, from this point forward her sole point of contact would be Adam, her claim manager. After answering some of Mrs Lester’s questions and confirming some details, Adam sent out the forms required to start a case.

Once Mrs Lester completed the forms with her loan details, Adam spoke with her to confirm all the details and to make sure she was happy for us to start the case and on 12th November 2010 our legal team got to work find out how much Picture Financial owed Mrs Lester.

Picture Financial proved to be a tough lender to chase for a payout as they had gone into liquidation during the recession. Instead of being able to work directly with the lender, our legal team instead had to work with the Financial Services Compensation Scheme to secure a refund for Mrs Lester.

All the hard work paid off on 26th May 2011, when Adam was able to call Mrs Lester and inform her about the full PPI refund we’d been able to win for her.

In total, Mrs Lester received a full refund of £10,351.81 in mis sold PPI payments.
