As well as scaring lenders into paying out full PPI refunds, we spent the whole of yesterday scaring each other as we donned our best Halloween costumes and had a little Fancy Dress competition…
Little did our clients know that their calls were being answered by Zombie Sailors, dead theatre ushers, a clown, a sinister Snow White and even the Joker! We asked every staff member to vote for their favourite outfit and there was one clear winner – our Customer Satisfaction Ambassador, Shelby.
Shelby went for a zombie Dorothy outfit complete with exposed rib-cage and white contact lenses, a worthy winner. Second place went to Rick our Online Marketing Wizard, or in this case a dead theatre usher. I asked the winners about their costumes…
Hi Shelby, did you think you would win?
“I did think i had a good chance but there was some strong competition.”
What do you think won it for you?
“It was all about the eyes plus I got up at 7.10 to do my costume, so the effort was there!”
What will you do with your £50 River Island voucher prize?
“I’ll be buying some clothes.”

Did you fancy your chances?
“I knew it’d be tough as I know the efforts we all go to and thought I’d just give it my best shot.”
Why that costume?
“I just thought it took a normal situation and made it freaky and scary, it was different. If I’m honest it was a protest against the overpricing of confectionery in modern cinemas – no one should have to pay £5 for pick and mix.”
Well said Rick, wierd and political – a bit like Boris Johnson. And what will you spend the £25 iTunes voucher on?
“The voucher will go on an array of applications for my iPhone 5S.”
